Dr Bishal Gyawali - Queen's University, Kingston, Canada and Dr Arjun Gupta - Oncology fellow, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA

Dr Arjun Gupta speaks to Dr Bishal Gyawali at the Choosing Wisely: Value added cancer care for India event in Delhi about the challenges facing young oncologists in India.

Dr Gupta compares the clinical workload between practices in the US and India with oncologists in India potentially seeing up to 40 patients in a half day leaving them unable to address everything in such a short encounter.

The experts discuss the lack of mentorship in low and middle income countries and point to the benefit of platforms like ecancer in supporting young oncologists on their journeys.
