Dr Naveen Salins and Dr Nagesh Simha speak to ecancer at the Choosing Wisely: Value added cancer care for India event in Delhi about the changing goals of care for cancer patients.

Dr Salins explains that as a patient moves along the trajectory of illness there is a dynamic change in goals, beginning with cure and moving on to end of life care.

Dr Simha states that it is very important for oncologists to understand the possibilities that palliative care can give in order to make the transition for a patient much easier.
